The Smart Stop Refill Pack comes with 24 bobber stops.

There is no pincher tool included with the Refill Pack. The pincher tool is included with the Combo Pack and is required to put the stops on your line properly. When refilling your pincher tool, the new spool of 8 stops must go in graphics side up. The instruction card included with the Combo Pack and the Refill Pack illustrate how to do this.

The Smart Stop bobber stop is a small hard plastic bobber stop that clips onto your line and is fully adjustable. It works best on 2#-12# (.004-.012) monofilament line. It works well on some brands of fluorocarbon, but you’ll need a diameter of approximately 8#-12# to have it hold properly (smaller fluorocarbon is just too slippery). It can work on braided line as well, as long as the diameter of line is comparable to 2#-12# monofilament. The thing to remember with braided line is that it’s very abrasive. If making adjustments, the stop won’t last as long as it would on monofilament, but if you wet the line down and move it slowly, it will help prolong the life of the stop.
